SHAVUOT 2021
May 23, 2021 @ 2:00 pm - 6:00 pm
Leviticus 23:15-22 and Deut 16:9-12 contain the commandments given to Israel to celebrate the 2nd pilgrimage feast in the Bible, Shavuot. Shavuot is also known as Pentecost because it occurs 50 days after the celebration of First Fruits. This was a time when Israel praised God for the new harvest. It is also the day the Disciples were celebrating in Acts 2 when the Holy Spirit was poured out. Historically, Shavuot was considered a day of absolute joy and fellowship, celebrating communion with each other and God.
Join us Saturday, May 22nd for our special Shavuot worship service and teaching at 11:00 AM. Join us Sunday, May 23rd for our Shavuot community celebration as we gather outside our fellowship building for a time of community, family, and fun! Enjoy free food as well as an array of bounce houses and inflatables for the children, as well as adults. This is the day we celebrate the blessings of a new harvest for our community.
Our annual Shavuot celebration will be held
on May 23rd at 2 p.m.
Please bring your own chair as well as food and drinks to share for the Sunday celebration!
