The apostle Peter wrote that Christians live in a type of exile, surrounded by a hostile culture that maligns and persecutes them. And yet, in the midst of these challenges, Peter also says that Christians possess a “living hope” and a “joy that is inexpressible.” How might Peter’s epistle give hope and joy to those of us in “exile” today?
