How it Began

We know the young adult years can be a difficult season of life. You no longer identify with teenagers, but don’t fit in with older families yet either. Maybe you’re in college, working, or caring for young children. Maybe you have no idea what you want to do and you’re just taking it one day at a time. It can be lonely, and the road to finding meaningful fellowship is long and discouraging at times.
That’s why Jonathan Mayhorn and Ben Cohen co-founded this ministry in 2018. Whether you’re single, in a relationship, without children, or have young children – you’re welcome to come hang out with us. Our group member ages range from 18 to early 30s.

Join Us

We meet about once a month, typically on a Friday evening, Saturday afternoon/evening, or Sunday. Our events are posted to the FIT Young Adults Facebook Group and Founded in Truth’s Newsletter. Request to join the Facebook group and subscribe to FIT’s newsletter so you can stay in the loop. Please feel free to email any one of our group leaders if you have a question for us – we’re here for you. Our contact information is included below!

At all of our events, we share laughter, camaraderie, and good conversation over food, games, and other fun activities. We can’t wait to meet you!

Below is our list of the upcoming 2023 events we’ve planned so far. Be sure to save the dates for any you’re interested in and contact one of our group leaders to let us know you’re coming, if you are a first time visitor.
