Prayer and Declaration

Father, we bless You, Lord. We praise You. We thank You for this feast day. We thank You, Father, for this day that You have set aside from the beginning. We praise You. We love You. You receive our praise. You receive our shouts. Receive it, Father. We love You so much.

Yahvah means He will come. He will return to Jerusalem. Zion's King will restore. The clouds will part, and our King will descend, His eyes on fire, seven stars in His right hand. Yah-voh, Yah-voh, Yah-voh, Yah-voh, Yah-voh. We know He came, oh, the Lamb who was slain, and He'll come again, our conquering King on that day. Oh, His sword will go forth to take back and restore what belongs to our Lord. Your bride will go forth to the ends of the earth, prepare of the Lord, beckoning the day when Israel will say, "Baruch haba b'shem Adonai." Revelation 7, 9 through 10 says — can you see it? Amen. That is what we have to look forward to.

Hallelujah. Amen. Every tribe, every tongue, the Lord King will come. In the sorrows and the pain, come and praise Creator's name. From every wild and distant shore, He's coming, He shall return. Hallelujah! Oh, so much fun, to be in His house celebrating His feast days as one body, echad, united, spirit and truth, worshiping Him. We love You, Father. We praise You. My Savior came and He gave His life for me, and I know He's coming back to bring me home. Yes, I know He's coming again. I know He's coming again. Keep on singing till He comes again, and then we'll sing some more, till we reach the golden shores. Yes, we know He's coming, He's coming again.

Days of Elijah

We praise You, Father, we thank You, Father. We thank You for the confidence of knowing, Yeshua, that You are coming again. Oh, we praise You, Yeshua, we thank You, King. We thank You that You are in our midst tonight. We thank You for this celebration. Glory. Hallelujah. So, so thankful, Father. So grateful to be with You tonight. These are the days of Elijah, declaring the word of the Lord. And these are the days of Your servant Moses, righteousness being restored. And though these are days of great trials, of darkness and of the sword, still we are the voice in the desert crying, "Prepare ye the way of the Lord."

Behold, He comes, riding on the clouds, shining like the sun at the trumpet call. Lift your voice, it's the year of jubilee, and out of Zion's hill, salvation comes. And these are the days of Ezekiel, the dry bones becoming as flesh. And these are the days of Your servant David, rebuilding a temple of praise. These are the days of the harvest, the fields are as white unto harvest, and we are the laborers in Your vineyard, declaring the word of the Lord. There's no God like Jehovah, there's no one like our God, shining like the sun at the trumpet call. Lift your voice, it's the year of jubilee, and out of Zion's hill, salvation comes.

Announcements and Encouragement

Brothers and sisters, we've made it to the fall feasts. I want to give you some encouragement. When I first started in this walk, Pastor Matt's mom, Karen Vander Els, said something that was peculiar to me. My wife and I were fussing about something — this was some, I don't know, 10 years ago — and she said, "Jason, the battles are a little harder during the feast days." Do y'all remember that? Some of the OGs. Times can be tough. Listen, if you argue with your spouse, argue with your kids, argue with your boss, argue with yourself — this is the time it happens. And thank God He doesn't call us through a text message.

He's not going to give a phone call. It's going to be the sound of a trumpet. The sound of a shofar. Now, I think the city sirens might go off as well, because they don't know what they're dealing with. But guys, we're entering into the feast, and we're entering into the next 10 days. For those of you unfamiliar, the next 10 days is a very humble time. Speaker will be talking about that today, because we're going into a very triumphant time. But you can only be victorious post-battle. And there is a battle with flesh and blood. My wife and I were talking today about, you know, your battle is not with flesh and blood, but I think there is a little bit of one.

You're battling yourself. I battle myself all the time. But guys, moving on — I want to let you know, this is great news, exciting news coming up. Next weekend we've got service. Typically we don't have service the first weekend of the month, but since the calendar is going to gobble up some of that, we won't be having service on October the 8th, because we'll be up in the mountains getting ready. October the 15th is the Saturday nearing the end of Sukkot. Everyone is welcome. Registration free — just show up, the address is online. Please come. We will have service at 11 o'clock, worship online, we'll have an amazing message, and afterward we'll have a baptism.

If there's a chapter in your life that you want to declare to the spiritual realm and to your brothers and sisters, like-minded brothers and sisters, that's a good time. Don't wear white — you're going to be baptized in some creek water, it's chilly. Have you a towel, have you a change of clothes, come. And it is a somber time. Everybody crowds around, it's an amazing time, pictures are taken. And there's been times when people have declared themselves addictionfree, or that they just got married, or they just became parents, or they just relocated to a new chapter. It's a marker in your life. So I encourage you — that is October 15th.

October 16th is Family Fun Day. That'd be a good one to come to, guys, I'm telling you — lots of food, we're going to have inflatables. So that's coming up. And, you know, registration's closed — I don't even like the way that sounds. That sounds like it comes from Satan, don't it? That don't sound good — "registration closed" for a feast day. It's closed. We'll work something out. But guys, that's coming up in what, 13 days as of yesterday, so 12 days now — is that right? Something like that. Man, it's exciting. You're going to need it, after the 10 days — we're going to hear a little bit more about that in just a moment.

Prayer for the Gathering

I want to say a quick prayer for everybody. Heavenly Father, please see that all of us have come together here at Founded in Truth, those online and millions across the world, Father, to gather round about Your throne as children to the Father, to worship and praise You, to get excited with You in Your fall moedim, Your feast days, Your appointed times. You want to go on a date with us. Thank You. We know You're always with us, just like a spouse is always with a spouse, but sometimes you need a date. These are special times. So, Father, we come together to bless You, and Father, we ask to be blessed being with You.

In Yeshua's name we pray. Folks, I would like for you to help me welcome the best-looking speaker we have ever had up here — ever. My wife, Katie Price. Thank you. That'll humble you real quick. It's an honor to be up here, so I just want to thank you for giving me this opportunity to come and share something that's a little heavy, something God's amazing. He's been doing a lot of things in my life, and recently, one of the things He started doing is He started giving me dreams. I'm feeling a little emotional. I'm going to share with you a dream that I had on September 5th. It was not the most pleasant dream.

It didn't end well. But there's hope in the dream. It came on October 5th, and as I was dreaming, I had a dream of a young warrior. This warrior was someone who was very successful. It didn't matter what battle he faced, he always conquered and he always won. He wasn't always liked by everyone in his group because you don't always like someone who's successful in all that they do. But whatever this warrior did—he touched it, it was golden. If he fought a battle, he won it. And in my dream, this young soldier was with his army or his troop, and they were on a ship, and they were fighting a battle, and they won.

After that battle, he got in an argument with his people, his troop, his team members, and every single one of those people on the ship or in that room with him left. And when they left, it was kind of like the story of Peter Pan. When the kids came out of the treehouse, they got captured by Captain Hook. Well, when everyone walked out of that room, the enemy had climbed on board and they didn't know it, and they all were captured.

The Warrior's Anger

Well, the young soldier that was gifted and talented, anything that he touched—he got angry. He was angry with everyone. He threw his weapons across the room, and he was pacing back and forth. When he looked up, he saw the enemy had overtaken his ship, and he went to lunge for his weapons, but he was too late. See, he had thrown them away in anger. Everyone on that ship died. The people below, when they were taken captive, they were below the ship—the image was like slaves being transported, stacked upon each other and laying there in bondage. They had hope because they knew this warrior, anything he touched was successful and anything that he would do, he would win.

And so they weren't afraid. They believed he would deliver them because they had their hope in this warrior. But he had thrown his weapons away in anger, and he couldn't reach them. And the entire group died. They weren't able to survive. And so I woke up from the dream—and I told you it wasn't a pleasant dream. I reached out to Angie and told her about my dream. She said the young warrior might be you, Katie. But I want to say to everyone in this room that you and I, all of us, are that young warrior. We are the warrior.

Never Throw Down Your Weapons

And we cannot afford to throw down our spiritual weapons in a fit of anger, in a fit of unforgiveness, in a fit of frustration, in a fit of bitterness, in a fit of judgment. We can't afford to throw down our spiritual weapons because if we do, those that depend on us and the job God has called us to do, we will not succeed and we will have the blood of those people on our hands. So I want to come to you today as we're preparing to enter in these days of awe. And I'm a little emotional because I've been thinking about this and I've been praying, Lord, please don't let us throw down our weapons. Don't let me throw down my weapons.

And in Ephesians, it tells us to put on the armor of God. But that's not what I'm talking about. I'm not talking about the armor of the Lord. We all know about the shield of faith, the gospel of peace, the helmet of salvation, the breastplate of righteousness. We know about that. I'm talking about your spiritual weapons. And I'm going to ask you, and I might ask you multiple times today, have you thrown down your spiritual weapons? And if you have—will your family suffer because of it? So you might say, Katie, what are your spiritual weapons? I'm glad you asked because we're going to go through them.

And I've been thinking about this. Out of respect for time and knowing we have children here, I'm going to try not to go over all the scriptures I have. I have a list of them. I'm going to try to be interesting and entertaining as I talk to you about your spiritual weapons.

The Weapon of the Word of God

So the very first one is the Word of God. The Word of God is living and it's active. It speaks to us 2,000 years after Yeshua died. You can open the Word of God and find something speaking directly to your life. One time I got in an argument with my sister and said I wasn't going to apologize because I wasn't wrong. I opened the Word and it says, "...he who says he's without sin is a fool." The Word of God called me a fool. The Word of God pierces your heart. Like Jason says, we fight against our flesh, but we also are fighting against the world. And the Word of God is sharper than a two-edged sword. It pierces our spirit, ourselves, and it goes into what we are thinking. And it knows the truth about ourself. And God knows what we're thinking. It still applies to our life today. It is transforming. It is a chain breaker. Bondages are broken from the Word of God. It speaks life. There's nothing false in the Word of God. It's the truth.

Darkness cannot be around the truth. The Word of God has the power to send the enemy fleeing because darkness cannot be around the light. We have to be in the Word of God. Are you in the Word of God? Have you laid that weapon down? Do you know the Word of God? One time I took the kids to a Messiah meeting. What was it, Christy? What was it? Camp Mashiach? Yeah. And they asked the kids, what was your favorite scripture? And I thought— what if the kids don't have a favorite scripture? What if they haven't been reading and they haven't been taught the Word to have an actual favorite scripture? And it was convicting to me because I wondered if, as a children's teacher in the children's church, I was encouraging the kids to actually study the Word and come up with a favorite scripture. The Word of God is powerful.

The Weapon of Prayer

The second weapon that we have is prayer. In Scripture, the Holy Spirit intercedes for us when we don't know what to pray. Do you have your heavenly prayer language? It's okay if you don't, but it's a tool you can use—the Holy Spirit will groan and speak and intercede for you when you have no other words to say. Scripture says the Father knows our thoughts, so why are we hiding them? Turn all of our thoughts and our worries and our fear into prayer. Prayer builds up faith. When we cry, when we have tears, when we intercede for our brothers and sisters, the Father's will be done beyond our own so that we can show that we trust Him.

Even when we don't know or understand what we're going through. And when we combine prayer with Scripture, that two-edged sword gets super powerful. It turns into a lethal weapon. It breaks chains and it opens doors and all things are possible. Prayer. Are you praying? Have you spent time in your prayer closet? Have you noticed people around who are hurting and suffering, and have you gone to the quiet place where nobody knows to pray and intercede for them? Have you seen a brother or sister hurting and spent time crying with them because they're wanting to give up hope? God hasn't forgotten you, Claire.

The Weapon of Fasting

The third thing is fasting. It's super powerful. And it's not something that I truly like to do because I don't like to deny myself to eat. I'm just going to be honest. But fasting is important.

Yeshua fasted before he even started his ministry. Freedom and bondage and chains can be broken. Esther had people fast before they faced Haman. All of her people were going to be killed, but through prayer and fasting, God delivered them. Nehemiah showed his grief. Jonah showed repentance. You get direction when you fast. You can find humility, intimacy with the Father, spiritual growth. It's a powerful tool because the flesh is denied. If we are willing to set aside ourselves and our own fleshly desires, put the Father's desires first, and seek His help and guidance, it gives us self-discipline. Are you using fasting as your weapon for deliverance for someone you know who needs it?

In Matthew 17, 21, Yeshua told the disciples that this kind of service when the boy kept throwing himself into the fire and into the water because he had epilepsy and the disciples couldn't lay hands on him and heal him. And Yeshua said, this one needed prayer and fasting. And he can only be delivered by prayer and fasting. Sometimes it's only prayer and fasting that will be the key to unlock what you're seeking.

Fasting as a Weapon of Obedience

In Joel 2, 12, right before Paul and someone else that was with him went to do the job that they were to do, they went and prayed and fasted. Then people laid hands on them, and they were commissioned to go do the job that they were supposed to do. Fasting is a powerful tool. Are we using it? I know I'm not using it as often as I should. When you are getting ready to hit Yom Kippur, I want to encourage you as we enter into that season of fasting to do it with joy, knowing that we actually get to fast and get to show the Father that we love Him.

Worship and Surrender

Another tool that we can sometimes participate in but we don't really engage—because our heart and our head aren't in it—is worship. Are you worshiping the Father today? Are you allowing it to come from the depths of your spirit? Are you worshiping Him in spirit and truth? When you worship, you surround yourself in the Father. You recognize that He is the sovereign King. You say that He is worthy of all praise, and you create a relationship with Him through intimacy.

When you step aside and you put God first, you are activating a tool that will work—break bondage, set captives free—a tool that can deliver you. It can take you from a low place and bring you up. In all seasons, we are to worship. When you're crying, worship. It's okay to worship through your tears. When you're excited, worship. When you have joy, worship. When you're hurt, worship. When you're sick, worship. It builds up your spirit in truth, and it shows the Father that we love Him with all of our heart, all of our soul. And we are not fickle. It doesn't matter what's happening to us right here in the world because we have surrendered to Him. We're showing our allegiance to the King. Love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your might and all your strength.

The Power of Testimony

Another tool that I think we forget to use is a testimony—sharing, remembering what God has done. The Word is powerful, and the Scriptures are powerful. But when I talk to Lindsay, I'm like, "Remember that time that God answered your prayer and gave you the house that you asked for—for the exact amount that you wanted? You were wanting it for a time and a time and a time, and He gave it to you." You prayed with your kids as a testimony to build up their faith. And when she shares that, she's able to encourage other people. But we all have testimonies. Jason and I were in this hard place, and we weren't sure what was going to happen.

And God sent Heather Duncan just to encourage us. The testimony is that God sees us in all seasons. He's not some ancient God that's forgotten us. He's living and active, and He's alive in our life. Sharing the testimony of what He has done for you with your children encourages them. It makes God real. Share your testimony. Don't be afraid. Don't let shame hold you back. Share it. Shout it from the rooftops that God is King and He is the one who sets us free. The enemies are defeated by the blood of the Lamb and by the testimony. We don't have to be afraid of what tomorrow brings. We know where we're going.

It builds up our faith. It reminds us what God has done, and it tells us that He'll do it again. There's a song: "Do it again, God." I've been telling everyone, I'm ready for God to do miracles again. Come on, do it again. Let's have testimonies of miracles and divine healings and the power from heaven. Let's have it happen. He can do it. I don't question it—it's Him. I don't have to do anything, but I can say, "Can You do it?" And He will do it. I believe it's going to happen, Claire. It's going to happen. Amen.

Thanksgiving and Mission

We encourage other people. Another powerful weapon that we forget is thanksgiving. We enter His courts with thanksgiving and praise. It is an atmosphere changer. Really, it's hard to be thankful when everything seems to come against you. When you're waiting behind that train and you're already late, and then you're late again and the train takes 15 minutes, you don't know what He's protecting you from. What if He just wants to teach you patience? He might not be saving you from anything. He's just saying, "Just trust Me. Spend a little bit extra time with Me." Be thankful. It can change your mood and set your tone for the day. It can keep depression away. It fights darkness. When you are thankful, there is no room for bitterness, envy, judgment, or anger. It stops the enemy in its tracks. It helps us stay focused on the real mission. And the real mission is to be an example for others and to go be fishers of men, to share the gospel. That's what our mission is.

The Powerful Name of Yeshua

And then there's the name of Yeshua. The powerful, wonderful name of Yeshua. Yeshua was perfect. It says in Philippians 2, 8 through 11: "Being found in the appearance as a man, he humbled himself and became obedient even to the point of death, to the point of the cross." Yeshua was obedient. He humbled Himself. He was willing to go to the cross. And therefore, God exalted Him to the highest place and gave Him a name that is above every other name. There is no other name like Yeshua. And at the call of His name, every knee will bow. Every knee is going to bow before Him in heaven and on earth, and every tongue is going to acknowledge that Yeshua is Christ and is the Lord, and it will show the glory of the Father. We can pray in Jesus' name, and the enemy might say, "Hey, I know Him, but I don't know you." So my question is, do you have to have a relationship with Him for the enemy to listen to the name of Yeshua? Just because you invoke it doesn't give you power. It's the relationship with Yeshua that gives us the power because we are putting on His righteousness and His clothes.

And that's how the enemy will flee at the name of Yeshua—because he knows that one, that one loves the Lord. That one right there, I better not mess with her. That one, that one, I'm going to try to get at her, but nope, the blood of Yeshua has covered her.

The Feast of Trumpets

Are you using the weapons that God has given you? So my question to you is, why do I talk about this today? Today is an act of warfare. We are in obedience and surrendering to Him, saying that all our allegiance is to our King. When we celebrate the Feast of Trumpets, we are declaring that Yeshua is going to come back and He is going to reign again. And we are excited to shout from the mountains that He is King and He is Lord. These are the days of Elisha. And in Numbers 1-10, it tells us why we blow the trumpets. Adonai spoke to Moses, saying, "Make two trumpets of hammered silver for yourself, and they are for summoning the community and for the camps to set out.

Whenever they are sounded, the whole community is to gather toward the entrance of your tent meeting. But if only one is sounded, the princes, the heads of the tribes are to gather toward you. "When you sound the trumpet for the first time, the camps of those camped in the east are set out. But when you sound the trumpet for the second time, those camped to the south are set out. Short blasts will be a signal for their moving out. It's to gather the whole national community. You are to sound the sustained blast and not the short blast. And the sons of Aaron will blow the trumpets. This is an eternal ordinance for you as well as the generations to come.

"Whenever you go to war in your own land against the enemy who is hostile to you, you are to sound the short blast of an alarm. And then you are to be remembered before Adonai your God and to be delivered from your enemies. Also, on your days of rejoicing, for feasts and new moons, you are to blow the trumpets over your burnt offerings and your fellowship offerings. They will be a reminder before you, before Adonai your God, that I am Adonai your God." So I'm just going to real quick go through that. We blow the trumpet to gather as a congregation and for breaking up camp. We blow the trumpet to gather ourselves before entering the tent of meeting.

We gather when the heads of tribes need to meet together. We blow the trumpet for alarm. We have a long blast so that the assembly can gather together— when we want the whole community to come together. When you go to war, on that day you're glad, you blow the trumpet. You blow the trumpet at your feast days and at the beginnings of the month, and over burnt offerings and peace offerings. It's a reminder that God, Adonai, is the Lord our God. In Leviticus 23, 23-25, it says: "Adonai spoke to Moses, saying, 'Speak to the people of Israel, saying, In the seventh month, on the first day of the month, you are to have a Shabbat rest and a memorial blowing of the shofar, a holy convocation. You are to do no regular work, and you are to present an offering made by fire to Adonai.'" So let's come together and let's go out shouting and praising the Father.

Declarations and Decrees

So what I'm going to do is a little bit different this year. I have some decrees. I have some declarations that I want to speak over us. And after I make each statement, I want us to blow the shofar. If you don't have a shofar, use your voice. And let's praise the King. All right, so as we enter into the 10 days of Oz, let us look into our hearts and search our hearts to make things right with our neighbors, our friends, and our family, committing to fasting and entering into the Yom Kippur season with a fearful heart.

Decreeing a New Season

So let's blow the shofar for that. We're going to blow the shofar to decree a new year, a new season, one that we will walk with Yahweh and we will remember what Yeshua did for us. We're to blow the shofar and shout, singing praises and remembering to be thankful. We're going to remember to be thankful in all that our Heavenly Father has done for us. And we are going to blow the shofar to shout to say thank you to Yeshua for dying on the cross for us and setting us free from the law of sin and death. We're going to blow the shofar in worship saying that we will love the Lord our God and we will serve Him all the days of our life. We will blow the shofar reminding ourselves that we will go to the Father with our problems, with our concerns, with our cares, with our sicknesses, with our worries, and we're going to cast our cares down on the one who cares for us, and we're going to blow the shofar decreeing and declaring there is no other name higher than the name of Yeshua.

Our Nation and Our Covenant

And we're going to blow the shofar and we're going to decree and declare that our nation, the United States of America, will serve our Heavenly Father. And we are going to ask for His will to be done here on earth as it is in heaven. We're going to blow the shofar and worship as a new creation in one covenant with the Father. Listen, we're going to blow the shofar for our family members and prodigals and anyone who has walked away from the Father and declared that they will serve the one true God and that they will come home to the Father again. We're going to blow the shofar as a community of Founded in Truth and for anyone else who is participating in this day that we will be set apart for Him and that we will be willing to stand for righteousness.

The Blessing and the Joy

Just a few more. We're going to blow the shofar in obedience with joy and thanksgiving that we get to, Christy. We get to. And we thank you for the freedom to be able to worship you as our King. We're going to blow the shofar for the second coming that we will be prepared and we will not be asleep. And we will use our weapons of warfare to prepare the place. And that we will be ready to meet Yeshua again. Amen.

Jerusalem and the Joining of Sticks

And I'm going to do the last two together. We're going to blow the shofar for Jerusalem for there to be peace and prosperity in the land. And we're going to blow the shofar so that the stick of Joseph, which is in Ephraim's hand, and the Israelite tribes associated with him, and we will be joined with Judah's stick. And we blow the shofar as the Father makes them two as one in His hand. I like this. Girl. Oh. Come down this sword. For the battle is not. It belongs to the Lord. Sing it or not. Or share it or not. The king is coming, he's coming. Yeah, yeah. He's coming. Let's eat. Let's eat. Shalom.
